In news to get us all in a spin, it has been announced today that broadcaster Stephanie Hirst will join Greatest Hits Radio 60s from 1pm on Monday 24th February for a brand-new daily show.

‘Spinnin’ The 60s with Stephanie Hirst’ will celebrate the Greatest Hits Radio audiences love of authentic vinyl with every song played being 100% original 45 pressings, highlighting the unique atmosphere and warmth you can only get from vinyl.

Listeners can expect a daily exploration of Stephanie’s vast personal vinyl library, as she shares some rarities, oddities, hidden gems, and valuable 45 single pressings. This alongside being invited to enjoy her trademark encyclopaedic knowledge and huge passion for music, especially the game changing music of the 1960s – the decade that changed popular music forever.

Ahead of her very first show, Stephanie will be joining Ken Bruce at midday on his mid-morning show (Monday 24th) on Greatest Hits Radio in a very special 60s vinyl themed Golden Years. And for all those who can’t wait to listen to the first ever Spinnin’ The 60s, the show is available to preview exclusively from Monday morning on the Rayo app.
