Big KISS energy: RAJAR Q1 2026 figures showcase growth for new look KISS
ßÏÀÖ԰’s newly rebranded KISS has officially entered its feral era. The Q1 2026 RAJAR results highlight station growth of more than 15% on the quarter, with a strong debut for KISS Breakfast with Tyler West and Chloe Burrows.
The figures arrive just as the brand launches its iconic glow up, with an all-new look and updated line-up reflecting how its audience lives, listens and scrolls today. You won’t be able to miss its mischievous new campaign which has already caused chaos across London, with a major brand activation last week.
Elsewhere across the portfolio, music lovers continue to rock out to ßÏÀÖÔ° stations, with Absolute Radio, Planet Rock and Kerrang! Radio all increasing their audience year on year.
RAJAR’s latest figures showcase radio’s enduring appeal, reaching 87% of the UK population, or 50m weekly listeners. Digital listening continues to grow, accounting for 76% of all hours, with 30% taking place online via apps and smart speakers.
Our headlines this quarter are:
- ßÏÀÖÔ° Audio UK speaks to the nation, entertaining a huge 22.1m weekly listeners across its portfolio of owned and partner stations. *
- Commercial radio’s biggest portfolio, the Hits Radio Portfolio – which is made up of Hits Radio and Greatest Hits Radio – now reaches 12.1m listeners and 14.1m when partner stations are included.
- The Greatest Hits Radio Network attracts a weekly audience of 6.8m, with 1.3m listeners enjoying the network’s spin-off stations of 60s, 70s, and 80s music. The main station continues to be the home of the UK’s most listened to commercial radio show with Ken Bruce.
- The Hits Radio Network reaches 6.5m listeners, following its recent nomination for network of the year at the 2026 ARIAs (Audio and Radio Industry Awards).
- The Absolute Radio Network reaches 5.3m listeners, with the main station up to 2 million listeners (+2.8% YoY). Absolute 80s grows to 1.4million listeners, while Absolute Radio 00’s increases by 15% year on year.
- The Magic Radio Network has a weekly audience of 3.4m listeners, with Magic Musicals and Magic Classical both growing this quarter.
- The KISS Network entertains 3.3 million listeners each week, with the main KISS station up more than 15% on the quarter to 1.5m listeners. KISS Breakfast has grown 12% this quarter, following its relaunch with new hosts Tyler West and Chloe Burrows. KISSTORY has 1.8 million listeners (+6.1% QoQ).
- Planet Rock reaches 1.1m listeners a week (+7.8 % YoY), while Kerrang! Radio reaches 569k (+25% YoY).
With ßÏÀÖÔ° reaching audiences in app, online and via smart speakers, the company is home to four of the top five digital commercial stations which have all seen growth this quarter, including #1 Absolute Radio and #2 KISSTORY.
